ARC for Nepal (“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through arcfornepal.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you donate: your name, email address, billing address and the details of your gift. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers, Squarespace (through Stripe) and PayPal. We never see or store your full card number.
When you join our newsletter: your name and email address.
When you contact us or sign up for an event: the information you choose to share with us.
When you browse our site: Squarespace, which hosts our website, uses cookies and collects basic usage data, such as pages visited, browser type and approximate location, to run the site and show us overall traffic.

We never sell your information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run our website, process gifts and send email (such as Squarespace, Stripe and PayPal), or when the law requires it.
Thanking donors
We may thank donors by name on our website or in our reports. If you would rather give anonymously, tell us when you give or email us, and we will keep your name private.
Your choices
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing empower@arcfornepal.org.
Children’s privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. For the children in our programs in Nepal, we share first names at most, never share details that identify a child’s family or circumstances, and use photos only with a guardian’s consent.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, but we work to keep yours safe.

Our site links to other websites, such as GoFundMe, PayPal and our partners’ sites. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.

If we update this policy, we will post the new version here and change the date at the top.
