How children come to Samsara Ghar

A careful, community-based process, with each child’s long-term wellbeing at the center.

Who comes to Samsara Ghar.

Children may come to Samsara Ghar after losing parental care, when severe family hardship leaves them without the stability they need, or when they are not receiving safe and consistent care.

A careful, community-based review.

Every child’s circumstances are carefully reviewed with community involvement and their long-term wellbeing at the center.

The Rajendra Anjana Foundation leads this work in Nepal, together with local community members.

Once a child joins the home.

A safe foundation is only the beginning. Consistent caregivers, nutritious meals, education, healthcare, friendship, play, and room to explore help each child grow with confidence.

Protecting children’s privacy.

We share children’s first names at most, never share details that identify a child’s family or circumstances, and use photos only with a guardian’s consent.
